The fat Udon noodle

I spent the night in Osaka feasting on the fat Udon.

In my perception, Udon stands for the noodles that are fat and chewable. They look attractive by immersing themselves in warm salty meso-soup-taste liquid. Firstly, I will pick up the shrimp Tempura  half laying in the bowl. I hate it when their crispy outfit gets soaked and softens.

Then, I pick up one strip of the fat Udon and curls it up on my spoon. Then I dip the spoon to get a decent amount of soup, and let these two elements mix and dance of my tongue. The fat Udon is very chewy, and the soup warms my soul.

I am very surprised to find out that the Udon is actually a huge category. In my perception, the udon is fat. However, their are several slim members in the udon family that don't taste good at all. There is also one occasion that I encountered a udon that is basically noodles in plain water. It ruins the glory name of Udon.
